I found my Jeep sitting in a pretty much empty car lot. It was neglected and clearly no one had taken an interest in it for years. There was extensive body damage but a perfect frame. I knew I had to have it. Engine was good, price was good and I took it off the lot the same day I looked at it. To me, my Jeep (Frankie) is special because I built her. With the help of one my good friends here at ExtremeTerrain, Steve, I brought her to life, hence the name. Growing up, my dad had and still has to this day, an ’88 YJ. I had so many memories growing up in that rig and I knew, once I had my money right, I would get a Jeep and build one myself. And I did and continue to do so. I now have 2 Jeep Jk’s. The 2nd is a work in progress but she’ll be up and running soon as well!

I’ve always been into cars of all kinds but I really fell in love with my dad’s Jeep. That Jeep was the first vehicle that I felt free in. There is absolutely nothing on the road that is like it except for another Jeep. I love the family associated with the jeep community and the aftermarket options to really make it your own unique vehicle. So I guess you can say that I’ve been into Jeeps since I was in diapers.
