Features, Description, Q&A
Replace Worn, Torn, Or Damaged OE Steering Rack Bushings. Similar to many passenger cars today, 2007-2011 Toyota Tundras employ an independent front suspension equipped with a steering rack. As mileage racks up, especially on trucks equipped with suspension lifts and larger tires. The bushings that mount the steering rack to the chassis begin to wear and fatigue, resulting in driveability issues as well as trouble maintaining a proper alignment. As opposed to replacing the entire steering rack or replacing the bushings with the same, wear-prone rubber, Whiteline Performance has engineered a kit that includes everything necessary to replace the factory, failure-prone bushings with upgraded, heavy-duty synthetic elastomer bushings.
Synthetic-Polymer Construction. Whiteline Performance’s Toyota Tundra Steering Rack Bushings are not constructed from the typical wear and failure-prone OE-rubber. Instead, they employ their proprietary Synthetic Elastomer to create bushings that are both stiff and heavy-duty, as well as pliable and comfortable. Additionally, Synthetic Elastomer is extremely resistant to chemicals, extreme atmospheric conditions, and oils, making it the ideal material for use on applications in or around the engine bay of your Tundra.
Performance Oriented. Not only will these bushings repair and replace the OE bushings, but will also increase the performance of your Tundra’s steering system. Traditional rubber bushings are extremely soft, prone to flexing and deflecting the moment that any force is applied. This deflection translates to play in the steering and a dull, unresponsive steering feel even when new. On the other hand, Whiteline’s synthetic elastomer bushings are stiff and firm, meaning that the force applied to the steering rack will be transferred to the wheels and not lost within the OE rubber bushings and chassis. This results in a comfortable, yet sporty and responsive steering feel.
Warranty. Whiteline Performance backs their products with a Limited-Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects.
Application. These Steering Rack Bushings fit 2007-2011 Toyota Tundras.

If you have a RTT get an HD sway bar.
I wrestled with getting one way to long. Took all of 20 minutes to install. No jack, no tire removal. SUPER simple. I used the middle hole and what an amazing difference. I left the next day after installing on a 3000 mile trip to Moab, UT. I worked like a charm.

Good but bad
The bushing diameter was too small. It fits nicely when it comes to circumference but I had to slice them in half so I could fit them around the links. They have lasted a good amount of time without any damage or tares.

Review shared from Whiteline Heavy Duty Adjustable Rear Sway Bar (20-25 Jeep Gladiator JT)
Big difference
This is a bigger diameter rear sway bar. It keeps the much heavier diesel powered JT squared during street cornering and unexpected evasive maneuvers. The typical truck sway is gone.
