      2008 SR5 - Thoughts

      Bug Shield

      This is another quality product. It did take a little effort to get installed BUT results are great. With this and new front number. My freshly painted hood & new windshield have NO CHIPS OR MARKS were road debris marked them up. After months my hood & windshield still look installed yesterday new. Highly recommend.

      These are great. Make the truck look better and easy to climb in and out of. The only drawback is they tend to look faded or dirty without regular cleaning.

      Quick install

      These drop steps are easy to install once you figure out the instructions. The instructions leave a lot to be desired and are somewhat misleading. The brackets come in 2 different colored bags which is not mentioned in the instructions. One would assume that all of the brackets in the green bags would go on the drivers side and all of the ones in the clear bags would go on the passenger side. I found that the second bracket from the front needs to be one from the other color bag as it doesn’t line up on the 2022 tundra. Once I figured this out it was smooth sailing from there. I love these drop steps.

      2021 Limited - greatlight

      Very Nice Look

      Looks great! -Took 2.5-hours to install. It's time consuming to get some of the bolts off. Tight area to work, but slow and steady got it done. -I was able to reuse the plastic center piece that they tell you to remove. I marked where the brackets extend out from (on the center plastic insert) and used a hacksaw to gently cut a small section, 2.5"X1.25", from and reinstalled it. Looks good. -The packaging used for shipping was fantastic. The whole thing is wrapped in foam, and some areas had rubber tubbing wrapped around it and packaged in very sturdy cardboard box. The delivery driver was very nice, and took the guard off the truck, and gently laid it in our yard. The wife tipped him. -I live in No. VA. and was waiting for a nice day for this task, and 1/1/23, was that day, 65-degrees. Love the Mid-Atlantic Winters, shorts, and t-shirt. -Overall, I thought the install and difficulty level took the amount time I had mentally scheduled for it. -FYI - I'm 60 and did all the work myself. My wife helped (she kept the guard from hitting the Tundra) when I had to bolt on the guard. -The brush guard is very well constructed and strongly recommend Extreme Terrain. Hope this review helps you.

      Excellent fitness and my Tundra only needed a little bit help to make it secure correctly .

      The hardware with it didn't fit the two corner holes that needed it . One side fit well and the other side kept spinning and not snug like it should have been . A while later I found out better screw also came loose and I'm going back to ACE Hardware and they let me test fit before purchasing .

      Easy to install sturdy and look great.

      These are better than I expected. I thought buying a cheaper set meant I would get a cheaper product but this was not the case. These are sturdy and I love the grip on these compared to the factory ones I had on my last truck. I am 250 pounds and they feel sturdy when I bounce up and down on them. The ends have a little give when bouncing but not enough to be of concern. Overall very happy and would recommend. Haven’t had them on long enough to comment about longevity but they feel like they will hold up.
