Each of the strips in the kit can be cut and resized as needed, and the whole kit is designed to stick to the surfaces you want them attached to. The light strips are easy to install and can be wired together for simple operation. Bridgelux SMD Chips. These Tundra engine bay light strips feature many different Bridgelux SMD chips that deliver an intense light output while running efficiently at the same time. These chips work for up to 50,000 hours, and they create an impressive blue glow.

Heat Resistant Construction. These light strips are made with polycarbonate plastic and sealed by silicone that won’t yellow from the heat of the engine bay. The strips are moisture-resistant and built to withstand high temperatures while functioning throughout the engine bay.

Mid-Level Installation. Installing these lights requires wiring skills and takes about 30 minutes. Cut the light strips to size, solder wires on the tabs of the strips. Stick each light strip into position using the adhesive backing and connect the wires to a 12V power source to finish the installation process. Consider adding a switch for the ability to turn the lights on and off at will.
