      Description

      Trailer-Specific Winch. Superwinch’s 5,500 pound S5500 Winch with Steel Cable is a premium, trailer-specific winch with a stout 5,500-lb weight rating, allowing you to load up your Jeep or other small to medium-duty vehicles. In addition, this winch makes loading vehicles onto your trailer a breeze, eliminating the need to drive or push them up.

      Premium Performance. The Superwinch S5500 is a performance-oriented winch, featuring a powerful 5,500-lb line pull due to a robust 3.6-HP permanent magnet motor, 185:1 3-stage planetary gearing, and a 7/32-inch steel cable.

      Mechanical Brake. This winch features an easy-to-use mechanical brake, allowing you to quickly stop and start the winch while loading or unloading to make adjustments, corrections, or safety.

      Fully Sealed Design. The Superwinch S5500 features a fully-sealed motor and solenoid setup, preventing excess dirt, debris, and moisture from contaminating critical electrical components and wreaking havoc.

      Integrated 2-Way Roller Fairlead. The Superwinch S5500 features a durable, corrosion-resistant, 2-way roller fairlead, preventing excess cable friction. Not only does the fairlead make for easy line pulls, but it also prevents abrasions that could damage the steel cable.

      Warranty. A limited 2-year warranty covers this product against manufacturing defects.
