Construction. Rugged Ridge has designed a creative kit, similar to tie rods on your steering system, that allows the opening of both your tire carrier and tail gate simultaneously--the tire carrier linkage kit. The kit makes accessing your cargo easy and quick. The kit can be mounted to XHD, RRC, Rock Crawler and/or most other aftermarket rear bumpers/tire carrier units. Also, the kit does not have to drill into your Jeep, but it does have to drill into your tire carrier unit. This simple easy to use kit will save you from frustration and is very helpful and convenient.

Specs. The kit weighs a total of 2.4 pounds.

Accessories & More. The kit includes mounting brackets, washers, self-tapping bolts, standard bolts, two rods with opposite threaded ends, a coupler and a jam nut to lock your rods in (much like your tie-rod ends in the steering system). The kit also receives a 5 year limited warranty from Omix-ADA.
