Upgrading your 1997-2018 Wrangler's differential cover so that it doesn't get peeled back or even crushed in by rocks on the trail is best achieved with the extremely tough, easy to install Poison Spyder Dana 30 Bombshell Black Diff Cover. Putting up to half an inch of cast high ductile nodular iron between your differential gearing and the outside environment, the Bombshell has a number of useful features. The ramp profile makes the cover slide over stone edges rather than catching; the thick outer edge resists oil-draining "peel back;" and the oil fill hole is now at the level of the fill level indicator so you can easily add oil without overfilling.

Thickest Modern Cover. The Poison Spyder Bombshell Diff Cover's nodular iron is ductile and won't break easily due to its ductility, flexing rather than shattering under impacts. Thickness ranges from 7/16" to 1/2" throughout, with 1" thick iron at the edges. The differential cover includes a semi-gloss black powder-coat for toughness and rust resistance. The Bombshell's mounting surface has been CNC machined perfectly flat for a positive seal needing only the included silicone sealant (no gasket required).

Bolt-On Installation. The Poison Spyder Bombshell Diff Cover attaches to the Wrangler with no cutting, drilling, or modification, bolting on with hand tools. All hardware (Grade 8) is included, along with instructions and a tube of silicone sealant.
