This skid plate’s heavy-duty all-steel construction and the reinforced center section are designed to easily deflect common off-road hazards like boulders, tree stumps, and rocks. This factor ensures your middle transmission components are fully protected every time you take your truck out on the trails.

      Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This transmission skid plate starts as a 0.187-inch thick plate of high-grade steel, offering maximum strength and durability. This steel plate is then machine-cut and formed to precise measurements to produce a skid plate that fits your transmission area like a glove. Likewise, a pair of similarly heavy-duty steel ribs is welded onto the middle section of the skid plate’s inner surface to further improve stiffness. Rounding out its construction is a light blue powder coat finish, giving the assembly a striking look and excellent corrosion protection.

      Convenient Install Procedure. This transmission skid plate is designed to mount onto your transmission using factory locations. No additional drilling is necessary. Also, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
