Solid plate.
This plate is probably twice as thick as It has to be! I am willing to bet you could jack up the jeep using this skid plate. It was exactly what I was looking for to protect my electric sway bar disconect. It was very easy to install and the fit and finish are perfect. Can't recommend this skid plate enough and I will definately be buying more parts from M.O R.E

This plate is heavy. Built to last. Looks great. Love the blue. The original Tacoma skid plate. Looks good but the metal is to thin too lite. Easy to bend. Thank you M.O.R.E. For a superior product. ?????????????????????

Tan Skid plate.
Very Heavy duty. Installed by myself, just had to have the truck on ramps and set the skid plate on the knees and thread in the bolts while it’s lined up. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to have a tough and durable off-road capable skid for the Taco!

great fit; extremely heavy
Definitely have help when putting this thing on. I did it alone with a jack and it was a bear to get everything lined up. It is solid and heavy. Only minor complaint is when changing your oil the drain plug hole could have been bigger or have a removable larger panel like the oil filter. Oil just gets everywhere.

Great protection for the sway bar motor
I had a custom bumper installed that left my sway bar motor unprotected. There wasn't going to be ANY front skid plat that properly fit my situation. But this yielded itself well to a plasma torch and ended up being a low-cost solution that was a great fit. No complaints for this one, it does what it does well.
