Description
Quiet Tone. Improve the sound and exhaust flow of your truck with a MBRP XP Series Quiet Tone Muffler Resonator. This MBRP Quiet Tone Muffler features dual core technology which provides optimal exhaust flow in conjunction with superior sound suppression, making it perfect for on-road towing applications as interior cabin noise is greatly reduced.
T-409 Stainless Steel Construction. MBRP proudly manufactures their XP Series Mufflers from fully welded, heavy duty, T-409 stainless steel for superior strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The Muffler features the MBRP logo embossed in the casing for a custom appearance.
Application. This MBRP XP Series Quiet Tone Muffler; 5-Inch Inlet/Outlet features a universal design allowing it to be installed on vehicles equipped with a 5-inch exhaust system. Sold individually.

Cat back exhaust
This is the perfect exhaust for someone wanting a aftermarket exhaust but not paying the price of aftermarket exhaust, the noise output is not overwhelming and sounds pure and throaty, it’s a great choice for the 4.0 4Runners. It took a little time due to having to cut stuff out that was rusted, if you have a newer car it will take less than 2 hours

MBRP Armor lite cat back exhaust 2023 TRD off road 4Runner
The exhaust sounds really good however it is a little bit louder in your vehicle than what the video portrays but when you get to about 45 to 50 miles an hour anything above that you don’t really hear it so on long drives, it’ll be fine.

Inexpensive alternative for higher clearance exhaust
Purchased this system as a temporary fix to replace the rusted out OEM exhaust on my 2019 TRD 4Runnner. Wanted something high clearance and this did the trick. Super simple install (took maybe 15 minutes). The welds were decent, the pipe itself is pretty rough and was already pretty scuffed up and the slash cut for the high clearance was super jagged, but for $350 I really didn't expect super high quality. Overall for the money this will work great for the next few years until it's replaced with a much more expensive full stainless setup.

Gx470
Fits well on the GX470. A little quieter than your average “got a new muffler come listen” flowmaster, but the tone is great. Install is totally butter! GX470 has one hanger that is slightly moved from the 4 runner, but that’s perfectly okay. This is an absolute steal! If you are on the fence about it, I 100% recommend purchasing!

Great exhaust
MBRP exhaust fit perfectly and sounds great. At idle it has a mellow deep tone . When you accelerate hard it has an aggressive sound that will turn heads.. I'm very happy with this exhaust and will definitely purchase another MBRP exhaust.

Awesome catback
Removing the OEM exhaust took longer than installing the MBRP cat-back. Once the original was removed, installing was a breeze and went on without a hitch. The sound is amazing, especially cold starts. Gives the 4R a nice throaty sound that makes it sound aggressive, but not obnoxious.

Good price good exhaust
Install was fairly easy, besides having to cut out the old one because some of my screws were corroded. Sound is very deep and not too excessive. Be careful to make sure the pipe doesn’t rest on your axle or else it will vibrate and make noise. Overall pretty good.
