      Description

      Impressive Throttle Enhancement. Boost your 4Runner’s throttle response without the hassle with this K&N Throttle Control Module. One of the drawbacks of modern drive-by-wire systems is the “lag” between stepping on the accelerator pedal and the actual response of your truck. This is due to pre-programmed parameters in the ECU. This throttle control module modifies the signal generated by your truck’s accelerator pedal before it reaches your ECU. In doing so, this module reduces this pedal lag while increasing throttle sensitivity for a more realistic pedal feel. Moreover, this device includes a control knob that lets you dial in your truck’s throttle sensitivity.

      No ECU Re-Tuning Necessary. This throttle control module is designed to modify your truck’s throttle response without the need for re-tuning your ECU. This way, you can enjoy your truck’s new and improved performance almost instantaneously. What’s more, this control module is compatible with other performance upgrades like cold air intakes and free-flowing exhausts.

      Unobtrusive Design, Durable Build. This throttle control module features a compact design, allowing the device to remain unobtrusive no matter where you decide to install it. This feature helps prevent it from getting damaged. What’s more, this control module comes with a housing molded from premium automotive-grade plastic, making it highly resistant to deterioration and cracking over time.

      Easy Install Procedure. This throttle control module installs into preexisting locations in your truck, specifically near your accelerator pedal. You will need to drill a hole in a location of your choice to install the included control knob. Other than this step, installation is a fairly easy procedure that’s completed using just basic hand tools.

      Application. The K&N Throttle Control Module fits all 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner models.
