GTR Carbide Headlights
Was hesitant to order these since the price was half of what the competitors are offering… received the items in two days and installed right away. They look great on the truck! Yes, the output is not comparable to those other, more expensive brands. However, they work just fine for me with my current setup and after some positioning adjustments. The high beams are lackluster, so don’t expect anything there. But overall, for the price, I’m pleased with these headlights and their appearance and output.

Improvement over OEM but look for a non plastic housing
Overall I would give the light output 4/5 stars - I had my eye on the morimotos as well. compared to the OEM halogen headlight overall big improvement. The construction of the lights 3/5 due to the abs style plastic on the retaining clip/led housing. The installed took was a 2 beer project with the majority just trying to get the led installed into the plastic housing and aligned correct. You need to be mindful that the tabs on the LED itself are plastic and get EASILY destroyed when trying to install and it can be easy to do as you cannot directly see due to the plastic boot. Once they are destroyed they will be loose and the beam pattern ruined. My advice would be to look at the install process throughly and take your time. Don’t destroy the lights just trying to get them in. Before reinstalling your grill/trim pieces ensure the beam pattern is where you want it to be. I drove around and made sure the beam looked correct.
