2011-2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4-4.5" Lift Kits

It’s impossible to think about off-roading without thinking about Jeeps. For decades, the iconic auto manufacturer has been the go-to name when it comes to off-roading vehicles, and that’s true for every model in the lineup. The Grand Cherokee was designed by Jeep to be more of a daily driver than some of their prior models. It’s always been a comfortable truck that could be used for commuting and driving around the city, with quite a bit of luxury. But it’s still an all-terrain vehicle at heart, built to be as comfortable on muddy backroads as it is on freeways. And as such, it’s a common vehicle for off-road enthusiasts. Most avid off-road drivers end up improving their truck’s suspension at one point or another, as it’s one of the best ways to improve performance on difficult terrain, while also improving the style of the vehicle. We carry Grand Cherokee lift kits in a wide variety of styles, including the fairly large 4 to 4.5-inch bracket, so you can better outfit your Jeep for the open, outdoor road.

Different Types of Lift Kits

Lift kits come in three different styles. The best type of lift kit, and the kind that we mostly carry for Grand Cherokees, is the suspension lift kit. As the name suggests, the suspension lift kit increases the height of the suspension, and with it the Jeep’s body. This gives your truck a lot of additional clearance and, just as importantly, increases the traction. Your vehicle will have more stability and balance when driving over uneven terrain, dramatically improving your off-roading performance (and also your car’s looks!). While the suspension lift kit is the only option for off-road enthusiasts, there are also body lift kits and leveling lift kits. Body lift kits simply lift up the body of the truck while keeping the stock suspension, making your vehicle more physically imposing but not really impacting performance. Leveling lift kits lift up the front of the truck to be even with the rear.

Picking the Right Jeep Grand Cherokee Lift Kit

There are a few factors to take into consideration when shopping for a lift kit. After figuring out the right size for your off-roading needs, you also need to make sure the lift kit matches your tire needs. Different lift kits can accommodate different tire sizes, so it’s important to consider the size of your current Grand Cherokee tires, as well as any future tires you intend to purchase for your Jeep. Then it’s all about picking the right style, features, and price point for you.

Benefits of a 4-4.5-Inch Lift Kit

A lift kit in the 4 to 4.5-inch range is on the fairly large side of things. That makes it perfect for those who want either excellent off-roading performance, or a very aggressive look. If you’re serious about off-roading, a lift kit of this size will give you a few additional inches of clearance over entry-level lift kits. Whatever your off-roading needs are, our sales techs are standing by to help you find the perfect lift kit for your Grand Cherokee. We’ve got the answers, advice, and inventory to send you out to a muddy road with a Jeep that’s more than up to the task.
