      Description

      Performance Elite shocks improve the stock Tundra platform by eliminating the vehicle’s forward rake, providing a level ride height without hindering droop travel while also increasing the suspension articulation of your truck. Type III anodization prevents corrosion and wear of the 2.5-inch aluminum bodies, and external reservoirs efficiently dissipate heat by increasing internal oil capacity. Cooler shocks work better, longer. The reservoirs feature Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters; strategically mounted to eliminate interference with aggressive tires at full lock. Quickly adapt your shocks for load, environment, and driving style using the DSC adjusters as the high-flow piston manage stability through all types of terrain. FOX shocks are designed and engineered to support the damping of your rig and its variety of aftermarket accessories with thepresumption you’re traveling deep off the grid.       Always been a big fan of these. I worked in an off road shop and I always pushed a big body shock, with adjusters. These were my favorite. You pay for what you get, simple.

      If you DONT! Have the proper springs these shocks will do nothing for you. I have rubicon express springs and felt no differents. It still rides rough, my advice is shop for good quality springs first then shocks second

      Great while they last

      These shocks came with my Rubicon Gladiator, I was the second owner at 36k miles so there’s no real way of knowing how they were treated beforehand. I have a 2” lift and run 37s. Fast forward to 55k miles, one years worth of easy to moderate Colorado trails, and they are toast. My Jeep is in need of new shocks and I am hesitant to rebuy these, not because they were bad off-road, oh no, these offered a smooth ride on and off road. Might upgrade to a shock with reservoirs as I plan on adding a bedrack and go the overlanding route…
