Description
Strongest Shackle Mount. The Factor 55 ProLink XXL is strongest shackle mount for your 4Runner's winch. Originally designed for the military, the XXL is now available to the public. Conventional shackle mounts are no match for the XXL. This shackle mount can handle loads up to 24,000 pounds and has a failure point above 63,000 pounds.
High-Grade Materials. The ProLink XXL shackle mount is constructed from 6000 Series billet aluminum. Its titanium pin 3/4-inch diameter pin offers a higher level of safety than other shackle mounts. The blue anodized and powder coated finish are durable and meant to give you years of performance. You can use this shackle mount with a 1/2-inch steel cable or 1/2-inch steel cable.
Application. This Factor 55 ProLink XXL blue shackle mount is made in the USA and is covered by Factor 55's one-year warranty. This shackle mount is designed to be used on winches installed on all Toyota 4Runner models.

Would not have made it yesterday
I recently purchased the Factor 55. Took for a trial ride after rain storm. got stuck. Got out. not even 10 minutes later down the trail I went. Awesome product and looks great as well. Recommend for sure.

Factor 55 Hawse Fairlead standard
This is a solid piece of hardware. Very well made. Finished is smooth and uniform. Fit is exact on a standard Fairlead bumper cutout. Print and logo is clear and tastefully displayed. Mounting surface is flat and true. Face surface is beautiful. As fare as wear, the finish is tough. With a 3/8” synthetic line, the mouth of the fairlead barely shows wear as I’ve used it twice to rig and perform a winch out. Weight is 2.5 pounds. Standard steel winch line fairlead is 9.5 pounds. If you’re looking to upgrade to a synthetic winch line and appropriate hawes fairlead, this is a solid purchase. I shaved 26.5 total pounds off my front bumper by switching to 3/8” synthetic line (85’) and this new fairlead from my old setup of standard steel cable line, hook and roller fairlead.

I purchased the Factor 55 Splicer Shackle Mount because in researching towing/pulling rescue and getting myself out of trouble I was struck by the fact that hard shackles and hooks cause damage. So I reasoned that soft shackles and using the Factor 55 Splicer Shackle is the way to go for safety and performance!
