Extreme Construction. This Stage 1 Clutch Kit includes an ultra-fiber organic disc crafted from exclusive friction materials to resist slippage and burst for maximum performance. The disc is equipped with Marcel springs in the center to minimize shock and stress on your TJ's drivetrain for impressive torque management while ensuring smooth engagement.  The heavy duty, hardened clutch cover boasts over a 25% increase in clamp load, providing increased durability and power management without compromising the drivability or OE feel of your Jeep.

Installation & Warranty. Due to the intensive nature of clutch replacement we recommend seeking a certified mechanic for a reliable and safe installation. This kit includes a clutch disc and cover, as well as a pilot bearing, throwout bearing and  the adjustment tool necessary for installation. Application. The Exedy Stage 1 clutch is designed for installation on 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0L models equipped with either the AX-15, NV3550 or NSG370 manual transmission.
