Rapid Disengagement. When you press the clutch pedal down, you expect your clutch to disengage immediately so you can change gears. If that’s not happening, you may need to replace your clutch’s slave cylinder with Crown Automotive’s Jeep Wrangler Clutch Slave Cylinder. Designed as a direct replacement part, this cylinder follows OEM specifications to deliver the same high level of clutch disengagement as your stock part.
Built to Factory Standard. In following the OEM specifications, Crown uses tough steel, rubber, and plastic when making this part. The metal cylinder is durable enough to withstand constant daily use. It’s surrounded by thick black rubber, which helps to absorb shocks and vibrations to ensure the cylinder itself can operate as expected.
Professional Installation Recommended. As a bolt-on part, the Jeep Wrangler Clutch Slave Cylinder does not come with its own mounting hardware. Instead, you use the hardware already installed in your vehicle to fit this part. Professional guidance is suggested for those who are unfamiliar with their clutch assembly.
Protection From the Manufacturer. You receive a variable manufacturer’s warranty that protects against workmanship errors and issues with the materials used. This warranty expires after either 1 year or 12,000 miles, depending on which comes first. Some exclusions apply so check the manufacturer’s website for full warranty details.
Application. The Jeep Wrangler Clutch Slave Cylinder is made to fit the 1987-1992 variants of the Jeep Wrangler that have 2.5-Liter engines.
Installation Difficulty. Those who don’t have advanced installation expertise should leave the installation of this part to a professional. A clutch slave cylinder can take between 2-3 hours to install.
