This upgrade mounts to your Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon’s hood and connects to your vehicle’s primary or secondary batteries. This way, you’ll be able to keep your batteries topped up and prevent your Jeep from losing power when you’re out on the streets or trails.
Can Handle the Abuse of the Trails. Even when it’s constantly being pelted by flying trail debris, the VSS complete hood-mounted solar system won’t break so easily. Built out of a marine-grade solar panel that features 8 laminated layers of Dunpont™ Tedlar® backsheet, this upgrade has the strength to endure the abuse of the trails. It’s also attached to your hood using pre-installed VHB tape, so it’ll remain intact no matter the terrain or weather.
Installation Calls for Moderate Mechanical Skills. This hood-mounted solar system needs to be properly wired to your Jeep for it to function properly. If you have experience working with an upgrade that’s similar to this product, you can install it in no more than 2 hours. If not, it’s in your best interest to let a qualified mechanic handle the task.
