Description
Improves Power and Performance. Give your Toyota Tundra’s engine cooler and cleaner air with this Airaid MXP Series Cold Air Intake With SynthaMax Dry Filter. With a wide-open airflow delivered by a large inlet tube, larger amounts of clean and cool air can circulate and reach the engine. You’ll also notice improvements in throttle responsiveness and fuel efficiency. Lastly, this air intake system also has a rotational molded air box that separates the cool intake air from the hot engine bay air.
Doesn’t Need a Custom Tune. This air intake system will work just fine with your truck’s factory tune. Still, it’s highly recommended to have your truck tuned to reprogram the ECU. This will help ensure that this cold air intake and all other upgrades will give you the best performance.
SynthaMax Non-Woven Synthetic Dry Filter. For superior filtration, this cold air intake comes with a SynthaMax dry filter. It’s made from non-woven synthetic material and features a 360-degree, cone-shaped structure that’s less restrictive than paper filters. Moreover, the filter material is washable and reusable to help you save on costs. It’s also more ideal, from an environmental standpoint.
High-Density Polyethylene Air Inlet. This air intake system uses an inlet tube made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). HDPE is the perfect material for an inlet tube since it has extreme strength and heat resistance (up to 248°F). It’s also perfectly corrosion-resistant since it’s made from plastic. To keep the intake air cool, this system also features a rotational molded air box. This box isolates the intake air separate from the hot engine compartment air, which maintains its cool temperature.
Easy Bolt-On Installation. All the hardware you need for a hassle-free, bolt-on installation of this air intake is already included in the package. You can mount this air intake system to your vehicle using simple hand tools and finish the process in more or less than 45 minutes.
