Modern Enhancement. Improve your 2012-2018 3.6L Jeep Wrangler's intake system with this aFe Momentum GT Stage 2 Pro 5R Intake System. Designed to offer both protection and power, this system enhances your JK's air flow by 47 percent. As a result, you'll notice improved engine performance and efficiency, affording you an extra 12 horsepower and 11 ft/lbs of torque.
No Tune Required. Unlike other cold air systems on the market, the aFe Momentum Pro 5R Cold Air Intake doesn't require any custom tuning or re-programming of your Wrangler's computer to operate. Simply bolt it on and you're ready to go, enjoying better fuel economy and performance with the turn of a few wrenches. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
High Flow Filter. Washable and reusable, the included Magnum FLOW Pro 5R Air Filter is a 5-layer cotton gauze media that will provide superior filtration. This inverted conical filter is oiled and features a 100% polyurethane top and bottom with a polyurethane flange to ensure a tight seal.
One-Piece Convenience. Featuring a smart one-piece design, this CAI system is easy to install and boosts a strong seal for leak-free air flow. Use the included urethane plug when you need to block the auxiliary scoop.
Straight Forward Installation. Designed to be a direct fit replacement for the factory intake, this Cold Air Intake installs with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included.
CARB Legal (2012-2014). This Cold Air Intake will keep your JK emissions legal for all 50 states, under CARB EO # D-550-14, for 2012-2014 year models only. 2015-2018 years are not protected under this CARB EO.
