Love my running boards
These were a lot more attractive than the picture shows. They look fantastic and what a huge help. I'm 5 foot nothing and it is so much more comfortable getting in and out of my Jeep now.

Classy but Challenging to Install
First off, let me stress that these running boards look great and classy on my wife's 2023 Grand Cherokee Summit. I have installed a lot of steps and running boards, most of them from Extreme, who have always been great to deal with. The down side is that the description is misleading and outright incorrect regarding installation. 1) You do have to drill a 1/2" hole in the floor pan to install the passenger side center support. 2) You do have to cut the underbody fabric cover to accommodate the front two supports. 3) These boards take more than 20 minutes to install. Removing the underbody cover takes about 20 minutes per side alone. A threaded insert must be driven into the 1/2" hole you drill on the passenger side. All that said, once you get the covers removed & cut and the hole drilled & insert installed, the rest of the installation is pretty straight forward, although the pinch panel bolts are tedious to get installed and tight. It legitimately took me 5 hours from start to finish to install these running boards by myself in my garage without a life. But the end result is very satisfactory, enhancing the look of the vehicle. The boards are easy to level and are solid to offer secure footing for those who can't step up into the Cherokee easily. For the price, they are a great value. Would've given them 5 stars if not for the install challenges.
