Stylish. Made for the 4Runner, this Upper Grille Insert comes in a matte black finish with raw steel studs. Crafted from 16 gauge stainless steel, this insert has a stylish precision laser cut Punisher AR-15 design that gives your ride its own unique look.
Installation. Putting this Upper Grille Insert on your ride is moderately hard and requires cutting the stock grille.

Installation Time: Full Day
Looks awesome, but a lot of work to install.
Once the installation was complete it looked great, but there was a lot of work involved in the installation. The wooden pieces that the islands sit on had a lot of bare wood around the steel island cutouts, the picture did not show any unpainted wood. I painted them with some ocean blue paint and clearcoat over that, came out perfect. I did not see anywhere in the instructions on how to mount the wooden pieces and steel pieces to the grill. The picture shows rivets, so I used my own rivets and rivet gun to mount them and it worked perfectly. I knew from the description I would have to cut my original grill out, so I was expecting that. But painting the wooden pieces and rivet work were not in the description. Overall it looks amazing and I would buy it again knowing what I know now. But definitely not a job for amateurs. If you don't have a basic knowledge of custom installation, a rivet gun and paint I would reccomend having someone who does do the installation. Actual work time to install took me about 4 hours, but painting two coats with dying time was about 2 hours. I would estimate 6-8 hours depending on how long you let the paint dry.

If you don’t want to stand out from others
This looks amazing stands out from other jeeps. It’s a bit of work to install but it’s well worth it 10/10 would buy again! The only problem is it took a while for me to get it in the mail that’s the only bad thing. Work that you have to do, 1, Remove stock grill, not too hard. 2, recommend to take tape and make and outline where it we’ll be going on the grill. 3, take a sharpie and mark out the wholes will go on the tape so you don’t cut the wrong fin off (it will be close) 4, Then drill out the holes 5, once you have that done you have to put the bolts on it’s every other hole that has a bolt that goes through your grill the other holes still get a bolt but it’s just there for look's 6, install the grill 7, step back and be amazed with your work I’d post a picture if I could

I love the quality of the item and it fit very well. The item was easy to install and I feel a squirrel could do it with the way the instructions lay out installation. 10/10 would recommend.

Straight Forward Install
Very basic install. I would advise getting another set of hands involved for disassembling the stock grill elements (as the instructions advise). Would have cut a lot of time off the install if I had had help. Otherwise, very easy.
