Does what I needed it to

I have a 2005 prerunner access cab 2wd 6spd manual and after adding 265/75/16 at3 4Ss and about 200lbs of subs and deadening she was feeling sluggish. Changing to this ratio from factory has mad the truck fun to drive and will be set for when I upgrade to 33s.

Awesome Ring and Pinion set!

I totally didn’t expect the difference from my stock gears to my new 4.88s from Yukon Gear in my 2012 Tacoma TrD Sport!! I’m not sure why I waited so long to install the change.

Everything in one box

Great gear kit, everythign is in one box. High quality components. Im still in the break in period and my front diff is leaking from the rear seal now so that will be dealt with in a few hundred miles when they are torn apart for the break in inspection. But everythign was there in one box. flwless fit and finsih. I dont knwo why extreme terrain doesnt sell the extended warranty but other companies do. I added that to my gear swap and have an unstopable gladiator now.

Crush slieve eliminators

This is the way to go to set backlash. Very simple to use. And beats the heck out of crushing that crush slieve type.

Big Improvement

After upgrading to 37s I was not getting in to 8th gear very often. When towing my off road teardrop trailer I was well aware of the extra strain my engine and transmission was under. Especially over the mountains. After the gears were installed everything was back to stock feel, torque acceleration etc. It's hard to put into words but it's just a feeling that everything is happier.

Placed my order and received my parts alot faster then expected. Took about a day to put in both front and rear but they run smooth and I have better fuel mileage now as well

Only way to go

Worked perfectly. Only way to go in terms of crush sleeve or not. After having to replace my pinion bearing after not crushing the sleeve enough the first time. These are the thing I'll use.
