Excellent Option. An excellent option to rebuilt your Dana 44 rear end on your low-mileage Jeep is the Yukon Gear Pinion Install Kit for Dana 44 Rear Differential. If you have low mileage then you can probably re-use your carrier bearings and the carrier races, which means you can save yourself some money without sacrificing quality by using this kit. In fact, the Timken bearings are an upgrade, so why not take advantage of installing superior parts if you are going to do the repairs anyway?
