Description
Superior Performance. Manufactured by Yukon Gear, the Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft is a front left inner replacement axle. It can be used for passenger car, truck, and SUV applications, ideal for off-road conditions. It’s also the most critical differential component since it transfers power to the wheels. This axle shaft is 27.01 Inches long, and it has 27 splines. It uses a 5-760X U-joint, which connects the inner and outer axle and allows them to make turns.
Ultra-Strong Heat-Treated Axle. The Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft was made using the latest heat-treatment technologies. It’s constructed from 4340 Chromoly Steel, which is more durable and sturdier than regular steel. This drive axle shaft is twice as strong as stock front axles, thanks to its tough steel build.
Direct-Fit Replacement. This drive axle shaft was designed to replace your factory axle. You won’t need to modify your vehicle to install it. However, professional installation is still highly recommended, especially if your old axle has been damaged.

Application. The Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft is compatible with 1976-1981 Jeep Wrangler CJ5 and CJ7 vehicles equipped with Dana 30 front, standard rotation differential systems.
Installation Difficulty. Installing the Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft takes at least 4 hours. Experience in replacing differentials and their components and advanced mechanical skills are required for this installation.
