      Description

      Maintain Wheel Positioning. Good wheel balancing is essential, especially when you’re heading off the beaten trail. Your axle shaft bearings play a crucial role in ensuring your wheels maintain the proper position relative to your vehicle. And with Yukon’s Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft Bearing Kit, you get a bearing that can be used as a replacement or spare for your stock part. This bearing fits one side of Dana 44 or AMC 20 rear axles.

      Tough Construction. The no-frills approach taken with this bearing means you get a tough part that is all about functionality. Made using strong metal, the bearing comes with a seal to ensure a snug fit. It restores axle operation to its original standard.

      Professional Installation Suggested. The Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft Bearing Kit uses your vehicle’s existing hardware for installation. As this is a direct replacement part, no modifications are needed when fitting. However, professional assistance is recommended if you don’t have advanced automotive knowledge.

      A Year of Cover. Defects in materials and manufacturing aren’t a problem thanks to Yukon’s 1-Year warranty. You’re entitled to return this part if you spot issues that are the fault of the manufacturer. Some exclusions apply to this limited warranty so read it in full before purchasing this part.

      Application. The Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft Bearing Kit is compatible with both the 1972-1976 versions of the Jeep CJ5 and the 1997-2016 models of the Jeep Wrangler. However, the bearing cannot be installed into Rubicon models.

      Installation Difficulty. Taking 2-4 hours to install, this bearing kit requires you to have advanced installation experience.

      Fits perfectly

      This is a great product! I wanted to make sure to replace the factory items with the best possible and have always went with Timken. This set has everything you need and goes together very easily. Shaft was cooled using ice to contract it and bearing and lock were heating in an oil bath. Everything slid right on.

      Big Improvement

      After upgrading to 37s I was not getting in to 8th gear very often. When towing my off road teardrop trailer I was well aware of the extra strain my engine and transmission was under. Especially over the mountains. After the gears were installed everything was back to stock feel, torque acceleration etc. It's hard to put into words but it's just a feeling that everything is happier.

      Yukon differential

      Placed my order and received my parts alot faster then expected. Took about a day to put in both front and rear but they run smooth and I have better fuel mileage now as well

      Only way to go

      Worked perfectly. Only way to go in terms of crush sleeve or not. After having to replace my pinion bearing after not crushing the sleeve enough the first time. These are the thing I'll use.
