Notes and Tips
- Antifreeze Compatibility: Mixing different antifreeze types can cause gelling. Perform a complete flush before changing formulas.
- Brake Fluid: DOT 4 can substitute for DOT 3 in emergencies, but it has a shorter service life.
- Fuel: Never use ethanol-based fuels like E-85 or E-90 in WJ Grand Cherokee fuel systems. Up to 10% ethanol content is acceptable.
- Refrigerant: Never use R-12 refrigerant in the WJ Grand Cherokee A/C system.
