How to Install Weathertech Front Side Window Deflectors - Dark Smoke (07-17 Wrangler JK 2 Door) on your Jeep Wrangler

Installation Instructions:

1. Carefully open the package using a box cutter or knife (Figure A) and ensure both deflectors are included and undamaged.


2. Clean the top edge of the windows and then lower both windows completely (Figure B).


3. The front end of the deflector must rest on top of the outer weather strip of the window sill (Figure C).


4. Slide the front flange into the forward window channel on the driver's side. Once the front flange is in position, bow the deflector away from the window (Figure D) to create enough space to slip the rear flange into the vertical window channel.


5. Slip the rear flange into the vertical window channel with a ½" gap at the top side (Figure E).


6. Using slight hand pressure, press and twist the deflector upward to slide the top side into the window channel along the entire top of the window sill (Figure F). 


7. Raise the window back up fully to completely position the deflector into place (Figure G).


8. Complete the same steps to install the deflector on the passenger's side, as well.
