How to Install Select Increments Versa-Pods w/ Kicker 4 in. Speakers (87-18 Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK & JL) on your Jeep Wrangler

1. Carefully open the package using a box cutter or knife (Figure A) and ensure both the bods and speakers are included and undamaged.

2. Open the Kicker speakers from the packaging and place each speaker face down (Figure B).

3. Utilizing the speaker wires (supplied), attach the positive (gray) and negative (gray and black) wires onto the adjoining prongs for each speaker (Figure C).

4. Using a 7/16" drill bit, drill a hole into each pod wherever the wires are desired to exit the pods (Figure D).

5. Ensure the hole drilled is clean and will allow a grommet (supplied) to fit inside (Figure E).

6. Place the grommets (supplied) into each pod's drilled hole (Figure F). Note: Pliers may help work the grommets into place.

7. Run the speaker wires through the grommet (Figure G) and place the poly-fill back into each pod (Figure H).

8. With the speaker aligned flush with each pod, place the speaker cover over and drill four pilot holes into each pod using a 1/16" drill bit (Figure I).

9. With the pilot holes drilled, install the screws (supplied) into all four speaker covers for both speakers (Figure J).

10. Locate the desired mounting placement as this will impact how the pods are mounted (Figure K).

11. When choosing a mounting location, mount options include self-tapping screws (metal) (supplied), Velcro (carpet) (not supplied), or two-way tape (plastic) (not supplied). Speakers can either be tapped into an amp (not supplied) or existing speaker wire.

12. After tapping the wires either into an amp (not supplied) or existing speaker wires, mount the pods (Figure L).
