Classic Off-Road Styling. Upgrade the exterior styling of your 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma with a Vanguard Off-Road Bravo Roll Bar. Veering away from trendy modern designs, this Bravo Roll Bar sports a classic tubular roll bar look.
Light Mounts. Vanguard Off-Road had the foresight to design their Bravo Roll Bar with 4 mounting tabs for use with auxiliary off-road lighting. Lights not included - sold separately.

Installation requires modification and extra tools
FOR AWARENESS: Per the Manufacturers installation instructions(which are not available online), you are required to A) drill holes in the bed rails of the truck(3 on each side), permanently modifying the bed, and then B) use supplied rivet nuts in those drilled holes in order to mount the product to the Jeep. This requires an additional tool, a rivet nut insert tool, to be purchased/rented/borrowed in order to complete the installation, and you should also have a de-burring tool and some sealing primer or touch up paint for the holes after you drill them out in order to clean up the install and prevent rusting in the future. This is not called out either on XT item page, nor the Manufacturer's product page. The rating for install should really be more than 1 wrench because of the permanent modification required to install and paint touch up required, time to install should be more than 1 hour as you need to let the paint dry from the holes you have to drill to prevent future rusting, and is NOT a "Direct Bolt-on" part since it requires modification of the body in order to install. If the mounting method was more like Vanguard's other products, and similar products from other Manufacturers, and used the threaded mounting locations for the Jeep bed rail system, this whole kerfuffle could be avoided completely. If these items were addressed it would easily be a 4.5-5 star item, but have to deduct stars for not being forthright about requirements for installation or having documentation available from the manufacturer prior to delivery since the correct instructions are included in the box with the item. Side Note: XT should have some way to submit suggestions for updating product info on the site, but that is not factored into the rating.

Liked the look, came rusting already. Had it sprayed with LineX before instal. Not easy to put on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Directions very limited. All in all it was ok in the end. Happy with it and the way it looks.

Looks great, a little wide
Looks fantastic, it’s about 2” too wide for my 2022 Gladiator, still mounts correctly and looks solid but hangs over 1” on each side at the mount base… Would be perfect for an F150 or something with a bit wider bed

Just OK Roll bars, But look good
Came package well, no damage. Very light weight. Not built to protect, but look great! Rivnuts for mounting where not useable on the Gladiator due to the factory plastic bed rail protectors. I tried to use them on the front holes, due to no access for installing nuts, DID NOT WORK. I did not feel they would be strong enough anyhow. I used my own bolts with nuts and washers. Hardware supplied should have been black, not (shiny) stainless steel.

As I was getting into my build, I was somewhat shocked at how costs kept adding up - This rack is a good deal for what it is - Fairly straight forward, square washers with problematic keeping them in place, someone suggested tape, might be worth it - I only installed the rack for an occasional use, so I didn't require the bulletproof Mad Max versions - I suggest extending the arms and while you do the final tightening of the bolts to ensure a decent install

The low budget roof rack
An adequate roof rack for light weight applications. Consider spending more for a better roof rack. Tape the square washer in place before installing. That washer attaches the large bolt holding the cross bars. Without tape the square bolt might fall out of the plastic housing when extending the cross bars. Attach the 5 bolts loosely until the roof rack is properly aligned.

It looks great but the quality isn’t the best, only uses 4 of the 8 bolts on a 5th gen 4Runner and the stainless steel bolts that come with don’t have any purchase on the tubes themselves

This is what your JEEP deserves!!
Look at the way this front guard provides protection and outstanding looks! The LED lights are functional as I can see better on our country roads. Fear not so much to hit a deer anymore. This is a head turner! Other JEEP people get pretty jealous! Buy it and you’ll see how amazing it really is in person! I recommend this product. Get something that will set you apart from the others!

Looks good, heavy duty
This grill guard comes already assembled with the light bar and could not be more easy to install! The actual guard itself took about ten minutes start to finish, and the wiring is standard for Bronco mods. I am so impressed with the value for the money. Looks and feels heavy duty.
