It is very loud and clear and can reach far. It did not take long to install. But my dad did like it and said when they come back in stock he will install on for his self.

1983 Wrangler - Robtw
Nice simple little cb radio
Ordered for an overhead install in my project Jeep. After an intial mixup received the item I ordered, have no issue with extreme terrain or the shipper. Just a "labeling/pullers issue". Haven't installed it yet, still figuring out how to run the wiring/cabling up to the overhead console (trying to make it a neat job) overall very happy with order.

Great radio for the price, took a little while to do the entire install and would suggest ordering the the overhead mount for Jeep Wrangler to mount above the rear view mirror, this is just a suggestion. It did take a bit to install and run the cables and mount on the rear of the jeep. The install of the radio was less than 1 hour took more time to install the rest.

Works wonderful! Great price for a starter ! A 5/5 ????? for me!
Install was easy, I added extra cable to make it reach my desired location. Slapped on a cheap antenna from walmart just to have it running. Mic works well and catches my voice clearly along with my buddies. Recently stopped working on a casual run with the boys. Turns out fuse was broken , quick change and was working as good as the day I bought it. ( this is about I say 6 months after install. Defiently keeping a few fuses around incase the fuse decides to die.) Overall the product does what it needs to do and does a good job at it! A 10/10 recommendation if you just want a cheap radio to mess around with the homies!

Mounts easy enough anywhere plugged directly it my RC 6 PK gear switches and works great. Make sure to order a good antenna as well.

Okay unit.
This radio is great if you’re heading out on some remote trails and want coms with the Vic in-front of you. Installation was simple enough as well. Issues for me were that the mounting bracket screw had broken the side of my dash therefore preventing the screw from securing the bracket completely to the dash. Range on this unit is not very good, like I had said previously it’s only good for about 1 to 2 car lengths.

If you are looking for a reliable CB with a small footprint in your already cozy wrangler, this is a great option. I had a previous model of this brand that lasted 15 years. It's a super simple set up, easy to install and makes adding a CB quick and economical. It does have a speaker, so you can use it as is. Adding an additional external speaker is also super simple. It does all the things you need and has been reliable and useful on the trail.

Great starter CB
Great starter CB radio. Enough wire is provided to run into fuse box (behind vlove box) when mounted on passenger side of center console. Easy install with hardware provided. Check Walmart for better price though, $20 cheaper.
