Description

This tonneau cover's unique design and tough build quality offer unmatched protection against both harsh weather, and hard debris. Likewise, its dual point locking system keeps your truck bed and its contents safe from pilferage. Lastly, this tonneau cover's slim profile adds a streamlined look to your truck's rear end.
Hard Hinged Lid Design. The UnderCover SE Tonneau Cover sports a hard hinged truck lid design that also employs a unique X-Effect structural bracing system. This patented design ups the tonneau cover's rigidity, enabling it to withstand a greater deal of abuse better than tarp-style covers, and even other hard truck lids. This truck bed cover comes with gas-charged prop struts that enable easy opening and closing of the lid. These struts also disengage easily, allowing full removal of your tonneau cover when needed. Lastly, this tonneau cover features a built-in battery-powered LED light that illuminates your truck bed, for easy content retrieval.
Tough Build Quality. The UnderCover SE Smooth Hinged Tonneau Cover constructed from tough ABS plastic composite. This tonneau cover uses mounting brackets that are made from high-grade aluminum alloy for durability and corrosion resistance. Lastly, this tonneau cover comes smooth and unpainted, allowing you to customize its look via painting or decals.
No-Nonsense Install Procedure. The UnderCover SE Smooth Hinged Tonneau Cover mounts onto your bed rails using brackets that don't require drilling or any other modification. Please note that truck beds equipped with drop-in plastic bedliners may interfere with bracket installation, and may need to be trimmed. Other than this step, installation is a no-nonsense procedure that requires just standard hand tools.
Comes With a 3-Year Limited Cover and 1-Year Limited Hardware Warranty. The UnderCover SE Smooth Hinged Tonneau Cover comes with a 3-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects to its cover, and a 1-year warranty for its mounting hardware and struts. Install was easier than expected.
They click well. Hold without wiggle. Swing around 110 degrees (can access with the tonneau cover fully on). Recommendation: install the self-tapping screws last after you get the hinge and clasp all lined up.

Easy to install, the 4 self tapping screws are the hardest part and even that is easy, great way to store tools and still have most of your bed space

Perfect fit and easy to install
I have a 2024 Tacoma TRD OR 6’ bed. I did a lot of research looking at different designs and brands. The UnderCover Armor Flex stood out as the perfect fit for what I wanted. Extreme Terrain helped me get the order placed at a good price and it arrived in 3 days!! The install was easy and it looks amazing! The only thing I would suggest is during the install on step 5, line up the side rails to the adapter rail at the tailgate end (do not push the rail all the way toward the cab). You will get a much better fit and it lines up a lot better. I absolutely love the way it looks!

Great Concept, Well Executed
The cases are a great alternative to traditional toolboxes. In general, they work as intended, but the constraints of the truck bed make them less than ideal. They are just too small for some of the things I need to carry. The irregular design prohibits the optimum use of space. Having said that, they are a great match with a bed cover.

Not what I expected
I bought both the driver and passenger sides. These boxes are plastic and not a very hard plastic. Although it has a lock on it someone could very easily break into it. There isn’t much space in it at all. I’m disappointed and diffinately not worth the money paid.

Nice little storage. Just doesn't latch onto the bracket
Like the concept it's a nice little storage box and doesn't take up hardly any room in my bed. Fits pretty well underneath my tonneau cover too. Only problem is after installing it it does not latch. It's about an inch and a half too low. I've adjusted it as low as I could and it still won't latch I have to lift up the toolbox a little bit to get it to latch on to the bracket. Thinking maybe putting some spacers in and that might work.
