This design offers exceptional rigidity, which in turn ensures superior protection against not just harsh weather, but heavy debris that can otherwise damage the tarp of soft-style covers. This hard cover uses gas-charged strut props that allow effortless raising and closing of the cover. Moreover, this tonneau cover can easily be removed and hung on your garage wall via included J-hooks, if you need to use your whole truck bed. Finally, this tonneau cover features built-in battery-operated LED lights for convenience.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. The UnderCover LUX Hinged Tonneau Cover is manufactured from heavy-duty ABS plastic composite for durability minus the weight. This hard cover comes with mounting brackets constructed from high-grade aluminum alloy for strength, and corrosion resistance. However, if your truck has a drop-in plastic bedliner, this may need to be trimmed for a proper fit.
