This lock box is built tough to discourage any would-be thieves from stealing your valuables. This security console lock box doesn’t take up all the space of your console, leaving you with ample space to store items that you do not need to secure. Additionally, this lock box will still allow you to use your factory USB port.
Heavy-Gauge Steel Build Quality. The Tuffy Security Console Insert is constructed from 16-gauge steel for superior durability. This console insert’s joints are fully-welded for added rigidity, and uses a pry-proof hinge that covers the length of the lid, for maximum security. A unique lid support keeps the lid in the open position when accessing the insert’s contents. This insert is secured via a 10-tumbler lock that’s very difficult to pick. Finally, this lock box is finished with a textured-black powder coating for rust protection.
Direct, No-Mod Install Procedure. The Tuffy Security Console Insert is designed as a direct install assembly that doesn’t require any drilling or trimming to your Jeep’s interior. Installation is done using standard hand tools. Additionally, all mounting hardware is included for convenience.
