Note: This transfer case shift linkage adjustment plate will only work on 2003 and newer TJ Wranglers. It is assumed that the suspension installation has been completed.

1. It will be necessary to remove the bell crank-to-transfer case mounting bracket from the vehicle.

2. Remove the bushing from the bracket, save this bushing for re-installation.

3. It will be necessary to cut off the top part of the bracket in order for the new shift link plate to bolt on.

4. To determine the ammount needed to cut off measure from the center of the hole up .925”.

5. Draw a line horizontally across the top of the bracket. Cut along this line.

6. Mount the new lowering adapter behind the brakcet and tighten them together.

7. Replace the bushing (taken out during step 2.) back into the upper hole of the bell crank-to-transfer case bracket.

8. Mount the bracket back into the vehicle.

9. Reconnect the bell crank to the bracket.
