Important Notes:

This kit will only fit vehicles with 17” or larger wheels.

Prior to beginning this or any installation read these instructions to familiarize yourself with the required steps and evaluate if you are experienced and capable to personally perform these modifications. A factory service manual should be used in conjunction with these installation instructions.

Refer to the parts list to ensure that all necessary components and hardware has been included. If any parts are missing please contact your local TeraFlex dealer for assistance.

Park the vehicle on a level surface and chock the front wheels. Do not set the parking brake, you will be removing the rear rotors. Break the lug nuts loose with the vehicle on the ground but do not remove them completely. Jack the rear axle up and lower it onto jack stands. Remove one of the wheels completely with a 19 mm socket.

Remove the two caliper mounting bolts using a 13mm box
wrench while counter-holding the 15mm nut on the slide pin.

Remove the caliper and hang it from the coil spring using a coat hanger or zip-tie.

Remove the caliper bracket bolts using an 18mm. Remove the bracket and rotor.

Remove the caliper slides from the factory bracket by pulling them out of their factory bores. Apply a dab of caliper slide grease into the slide bore of the new caliper bracket.

Install the caliper slides into the bores of the new bracket by pushing them in and snapping the rubber boot into the retaining groove.

Install the Teraflex Big Rotor onto the vehicle.

For slotted rotor applications, install the rotors in the orientation shown.

Transfer the pad support springs from the factory caliper bracket to the Teraflex caliper bracket. Apply brake grease everywhere the pads contact the bracket to avoid squeeking.

Install the Teraflex bracket onto the vehicle using the factory bolts and a thread locking compound. Torque to 70 ft-lbs. Install the pads into the brackets

Install the factory caliper using the original bolts and a thread locking compound. Torque to 30 ft-lbs.

Install the wheel, torque to 110 ft-lbs and repeat these instructions for the other side. Remove the vehicle from the jack stands and place on the ground. Pump the brakes before driving to ensure that the pads are seated firmly against the rotors.

Note: During the road test following the installation of this kit, it may initially feel like more brake pedal force is required to stop the vehicle. This condition will pass as the pads seat into the rotors during the vehicles first several stops.
