The Teraflex CRD60 Front Axle 8-Lug Locking Hub Conversion Kit and Slotted Big Rotors is designed to decrease bearing load stresses by increasing the distance between the inner and outer wheel bearings, as well as letting these ride on a tough chromoly spindle. Additionally, by enabling disconnection of the entire front axle from the wheels, the Teraflex CRD60 Front Axle 8-Lug Locking Hub Conversion Kit and Slotted Big Rotors increases fuel efficiency since your Jeep is no longer spinning both the front wheels as well as the front driveline. This is especially helpful during flat towing. When you need the extra pulling power of the front wheels, simply turn the knob on the locking hub.

      Durable Chromoly Construction. The Teraflex CRD60 Front Axle 8-Lug Locking Hub Conversion Kit and Slotted Big Rotors comes with a spindle manufactured from 4140 Chromoly steel, as well as stub shafts are constructed from forged 4340 chromoly. These two components come together for a locking hub that can truly take a beating.

      Eight Lugs with an 8 x 6.5 Wheel Bolt Pattern. The Teraflex CRD60 Front Axle 8-Lug Locking Hub Conversion Kit and Slotted Big Rotors features an 8-lug design in an 8 x 6.5 wheel bolt pattern allowing you to use larger wheels. Larger wheels improve ground clearance and stability, especially when going off-road. Please note that the minimum wheel size for the new locking hub is 17 in.

      Professional Installation Recommended. Please note that the Teraflex CRD60 Front Axle 8-Lug Locking Hub Conversion Kit and Slotted Big Rotors will require an upgrade to Big Brake calipers. That being said, installation is a time and labor-intensive process, and requires advanced mechanical skills. Alternatively, installation by a professional can also be considered.
