Description
Awesome Axle Housing Upgrade. Upgrading to a stronger axle is a great way to improve your Gladiator’s off-roading capacity. As far as axle housings go, the Teraflex Front Tera60HD Axle Housing with ARB Locker, Locking Hubs, and 5.38 Gears is a perfect choice. This front axle housing features a ductile iron construction and measures 70 inches wide. These factors make it more than capable of taking the abuse of more intense off-roading while also running larger wheel and tire combos. More significantly, this housing comes built-in when an ARB air locker and 5.88 ratio gears both of which provide exceptional off-road performance.
High Strength Build Quality. This Teraflex Tera60HD front axle housing gets its superior strength from its cast ductile iron construction. Specifically, this front axle housing’s central tube comes with an outer diameter of 3.25 inches and 0.375-inch thick walls, offering outstanding structural integrity. Furthermore, this axle housing’s inner steering knuckles are forged from the same ductile iron, making sure you get the same level of durability from these components. Rounding out the axle housing assembly’s construction is a multi-stage black powder coat finish for superior protection against rust and corrosion.
Direct Install Procedure. This heavy-duty front axle housing installs into your Gladiator as a direct replacement for the factory axle. No additional modifications to your vehicle are necessary for most applications. You will however need a complete set of mechanics tools, advanced mechanical knowledge, as well as a helping hand since this axle is heavy.
Recommended Upgrades. It is recommended that you install an air system so you can make full use of the built-in ARB air locker.
