      Description

      Build. TeraFlex's stock taper HD tie rod is a heavy-duty, upgraded steering system element designed to provide superior strength and performance compared to the stock tie rod. This component is made of 6061 T6 aluminum, which weighs 33% as much as a similar steel tie rod, while offering greater specific strength, a yield strength of 45,000 lbs, and the ability to deflect 300% farther than steel and spring back into shape. The rod's 1.5 inch hexagonal cross-section makes it easy to grip it with a 1.5 inch wrench to tighten the jam nuts.

      Additional Info. This stock taper HD tie rod can stand up to steering in the most demanding conditions thanks to its excellent T6 aluminum construction and one-ton joint ends.

      Application. This stock taper Teraflex HD Tie Rod is designed for 1997-2006 TJ Wranglers with the TeraFlex Dana 30 High Steer Knuckle or Dana 60 knuckles.
