How to Install Teraflex Front Shock Extensions - Pair on your Wrangler

Important Notes:

Prior to beginning this or any installation read these in-structions to familiarize yourself with the required steps and evaluate if you are experienced and capable to per-sonally perform these modifications. 

Refer to the parts list to ensure that all necessary compo-nents and hardware has been included. If any parts are missing please contact your local retailer for assistance. 


Installation Instructions:

1. Remove the front shocks.  

2. Thread the shock extension onto the stem of the shock after removing the stem bushings. Make sure to use thread locker.  

3. Put a the supplied washer on the shock extension. Orient one of the upper stem bushings as shown in Figure 1.  

4. Place the stem through the shock mount bracket and put another upper stem bushing on, oriented as shown, and follow it with another washer. Tighten the nut to 20 ft-lbs or until the bushings compress about 1/8 inch. (Figure 2)  

5. Install the bottom end of the shock into the shock bracket on the axle. Torque the bolt to 56 ft-lbs when the vehicle is sitting at ride height. (Figure 3 & 4)
