How to Install TeraFlex Brake Light Extension on your 1997-2006 Wrangler

1. Remove the spare tire.

2. Release brake light wiring from retention clips to allow for extended length. Remove the bolts on the bottom of the brake light tower.

3. Place the brake light extension plate between rear tire mount and the brake light tower. The lower left side of the extension plate should match the contour of the rear tire mount.

4. Attach the bottom of the brake light extension plate to the tire  mount using the bolts removed in Step 1. 

5. Connect the brake light tower to the top of the extension plate using the included hardware. Be sure to use a washer on both the top and bottom of the bolt.

6. Reinstall spare tire. (33-inch tire shown.)
