How to Install Teraflex 2.5 in. Rear Coil Springs (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK) on your Jeep Wrangler

Installation Instructions:


1. Jack up the rear axle (Figure A).

2. Place jack stands on both sides of the vehicle (Figure B).

3. Remove both rear tires.

4. Remove both rear shocks using an 18mm socket wrench on the bottom and a 16mm socket wrench up top.

5. Lower the axle to release tension from the rear coil springs (Figure B).

6. Press down lightly on the driver's side axle to unseat the coil spring (Figure C).

7. Remove the coil spring from the driver's side (Figure D).

8. Replace the driver's side coil spring with the new TeraFlex coil spring (Figure E).

9. Repeat Steps 5-7 on the passenger's side.

10. Jack the axle back up to seat the coil springs properly (Figure F).

11. Replace the rear shocks with 2.5" length shocks or shock extensions.

12. Reinstall rear tires and remove the jack stands.
