Similarly, a pair of elastics built into the assembly’s corners let you drive with the tonneau cover completely open. Meanwhile, quick-release cable-pull latches keep the cover secured in the closed position while allowing fast access. Lastly, this cover is secured simply by raising the tailgate and locking it.
Rugged Build Quality. This tonneau cover utilizes a top made from high-quality vinyl fabric that’s extremely resistant to tears and deterioration. Giving this top structure is a pair of aluminum rails that also functions as its locking component on the tailgate side. Meanwhile, the included side mounting tracks are machined from a rugged extruded aluminum alloy and are anodized in black for added corrosion protection. User-Friendly Install Procedure. This tonneau cover mounts onto your truck’s bed rails using the included side mounting tracks. No additional drilling or other modifications are necessary. That being said, minor trimming of a small section of the plastic bed liner towards the bulkhead may be needed if equipped. This is to ensure proper fitment of the mounting tracks.
