So far its been what I needed and its working good for now.

the opening mechanism behind handle plastic should be metal covering on plastic tigger lever.

Does the job

It works as expected. It took right around an hour to install. I love the plug-n-play install. However I would definitely have something to fish the cable along the frame and past the gas tank (I used a metal coat hanger). The only thing that I didn't like is that it's louder than the door locks. Loud enough to be noticed. Worth the money and would recommend the purchase.

Easier than expected to install

I was initially pretty intimidated by the install, the instructions seem to over complicate it. I recommend watching a video on youtube prior to install, it is much easier than it seems.

Modulator does not work.

Not a bad install, hooked everything up, tested the modulator, worked. buttoned everything up and the modulator does not work, check all power to unit, power is good. Hopefully they will send a new one.

Plug &Play T-Harness

Using this you don't have to splice into your main wiring harness, a definite time saver and adds to the reliability.

Clean fit

Used this to make for a clean connection with the Pop and Lock wiring. Looks professional.

Tailgate Lock

Works extremely well and easy to install as long as you don’t miss the warning that it only works when you plug into the drivers side harness.

Pop and lock tailgate lock system

Take off tailgate panel, insert pop lock. Run cords thru tailgate underneath truck. If you have the plug and play harness run it to the driver side panel underneath steering wheel. Plug in and good to go!
