      Description

      OEM Styling. All sorts of things can happen to your vehicle’s hood when you’re driving off-road. Eventually, new coats of paint just aren’t going to do enough to cover all of the dings and dents. That’s where Sherman’s Tacoma Hood with Scoop comes in. Built to OEM specifications, this hood is a direct replacement for your existing Tacoma hood.

      CAPA-Certified. The Tacoma Hood with Scoop has CAPA certification, which means it’s undergone extensive quality testing. All test procedures are recognized by both the Society of Automotive Engineers and the American Society for Testing and Materials.

      Sturdy Construction. Made with durable steel, the Tacoma Hood with Scoop has an EDP coating that protects the panel and primes it for painting. The hood panel comes unpainted, meaning you get to customize it to suit your vehicle’s aesthetic.

      Professional Installation Recommended. Though this is a direct replacement part, we recommend professional help whenever you install a new body part. Installation requires the removal of your existing hood and fitting of the new one with the bolts you’re already using. However, the hood is designed for a perfect fit, meaning no vehicle modifications are needed.

      Limited Lifetime Warranty. Sherman provides a limited lifetime warranty on the Tacoma Hood with Scoop. This warranty guards against issues with the build quality as well as material defects. The warranty only extends to the original purchaser, meaning it does not pass to any future buyers.

      Application. The Tacoma Hood with Scoop is designed to fit Toyota Tacoma vehicles made between 2005-2011.

      Installation Difficulty. The need to remove your vehicle’s hood, coupled with some tool work, places installation between moderate and advanced difficulty. Professional installation is recommended, with the part taking 1-2 hours to fit.
