Black Horse Brush Guard (05-11) Tacoma
Brush guard looks super clean on the truck but I was recently involved in a collision at 35mph where another driver whipped out in front of me. I want to say the brush guard held up pretty okay but there is damage to my hood and outer fender that I don’t think the brush guard helped to prevent. In the future, I will be going with a full steel bumper as I now just have a bent in $700 piece of metal on the front of my truck that I’m just going to have to take off anyways. Once again, the brush guard was super clean looking and held up okay during the collision but it didn’t really help as much as I wish it had.

Black Horse Brush Guard
I have had the brush guard for about a half a year now and it works really great! I love the style of the grate in the center as well as the mounts for additional lights (which did not fit my lightbar so we mounted elsewhere and worked wonderful)

Drilling required for front flares.. huge gaps on top of fenders have to use mounting tape to get halfway decent finish. Would not recommend

Blackhorse Grill Guard
Fit was very good but the product was NOT as advertised. The listing says the small grilles in front of the head lights are removable--NOT SO--they are welded in place. Took me about 90 minutes to install. Removing the stock (plastic) grill for installation makes the process much easier. It will easily go back in after the guard's brackets are secured. This grille is more bling than actual protection. Still, it looks good on my Tacoma.
