Description
Extra Protection. An excellent way to protect the leading edge of your Toyota Tacoma's hood from rocks, stones, and other road debris is with an Aeroskin LightShield Hood Protector. A hood protector sometimes called a bug guard or deflector will give you all of the benefits of a traditional automotive bra without the hassles.
LED Running Lights. This Hood Protector also includes high mount amber LED running lights. These LED accent lights come with a wiring harness that simply splices into your Tacoma's existing factory headlight harness. The LEDs will then automatically activate in conjunction with your running lights. The eye-catching LEDs not only look great, but will also make your Tacoma more visible to other drivers at night and in poor weather conditions.

This Aeroskin LightShield Hood Protector is manufactured from an OEM quality high pressure injection molded thermal plastic olefin (TPO) using the original data from Toyota to ensure a precise fit. Follow directions
Follow the directions and patience is key. Took less than an hour after I get the protective wrap and glue of my hood. I wired this through add a fuse at my headlights in the main fuse panel.

Looks great
This is an awesome addition to my Tacoma. Install took about 30 minutes from start to finish. However that includes it running the wiring but not connecting the wiring. Appears tacoma's have all hot fuses under the hood so still looking for an option to connect the power.

Near easy instal
Simple enough instructions until the wiring part. You'll need to look up where. For me, on a 21 Gladiator, I found it on the driver side in the engine bay near the fender.

Hood protection with style
Much needed protection for my hood, which seemed to be a rock magnetic. Looks great. Easy install. The install video here and from the manufacturer are different, so I suggest you want both to chose which install technique is right for you. Additionally, my observation is that I have reduce my MPG a bit.
