Description

This hood protector combines an aerodynamic design with an OE-grade Magnetic Gray Metallic color profile to give your truck a style accent that flows with its lines. Additionally, this component’s rugged build quality and ample coverage prevent scratches, dings, and minor dents to your truck’s leading edge.
Rugged Build Quality. This hood protector gets its characteristic durability from its specially formulated ABS plastic construction. This factor also makes this component extremely resistant to deterioration. Furthermore, this hood shield is injection molded to exact specifications, ensuring an accurate fit when installed. Lastly, this protector features a factory style Magnetic Gray Metallic finish to match your Tacoma’s body color.
Easy Install Procedure. This Aeroskin hood protector utilizes automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape in its installation. Before installation, it is advised that you thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surface first before wiping it down with the included alcohol pads for optimal adhesion. Moreover, when mounting these during cold weather to please warm-up the mounting surfaces as the adhesive is most effective in temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. You can do this using a heat gun or hairdryer.
Application. This Aeroskin Magnetic Gray Metallic Hood Protector fits all 2016 to 2023 Toyota Tacoma models.
Application Notes. Please do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash it for 72 hours after installation. This is to allow the adhesive to fully cure.

Function and Style
This bug shield is great. I travel to Maryland's eastern shore quite often and it is bug country. This is the 1st truck that I've owned that I put a bug shield on and the difference is amazing, still get some bugs smashing into the windshield but nothing like when I didn't use a shield. I definitely recommend it!
