Description

What’s more, this hood deflector’s robust construction translates to effective protection against scratches, dings, and dents whether on or off-road.
Robust Build Quality. This hood protector starts out as high-quality ABS plastic before undergoing an advanced precision molding process. The result is a component that’s extremely durable and offers a factory-level fit. Additionally, this hood shield comes in a black finish that matches Tacoma’s OEM paint code, making it ideal if you want a color-matched style.
Efficient Install Procedure. This Aeroskin hood protector efficiently installs onto your truck via an automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape backing. Before installation, your hood should first be thoroughly cleaned and dried before wiping down with the included alcohol pads. This is so the adhesive sticks fast onto the mounting surface. Moreover when installing this component in cold weather to first warm-up the mounting surfaces to temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This is because the adhesive is more effective on warm surfaces. You can do this using a heat gun or hairdryer.
Application. This Aeroskin Black Hood Protector fits all 2016 to 2023 Toyota Tacoma models.
Application Notes. Please do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash it for 72 hours after installation. This is to allow the adhesive to fully cure.

Function and Style
This bug shield is great. I travel to Maryland's eastern shore quite often and it is bug country. This is the 1st truck that I've owned that I put a bug shield on and the difference is amazing, still get some bugs smashing into the windshield but nothing like when I didn't use a shield. I definitely recommend it!
