ECM Swap Required. As you may know, the computer in your Wrangler JK is a complicated machine. To unlock the power of your Wrangler, you'll also need to unlock your ECM. You will not be able to use the tuner without doing so. Once you've received your Flashpaq F5 and saved your Jeep's stock files to the device you'll need to contact Superchips Technical Support to setup your ECM Swap. They offer the option to send in your factory ECM to be unlocked or you can opt to cross ship yours for a previously unlocked model. ECM shipping costs are covered with the purchase of your Flashpaq F5, but a valid credit card will be required should you choose to cross ship. The included quick start guide makes this process simple and Superchips's world class technical support is available Monday through Friday 8:00am to 8:00pm EST to assist with any questions or complications regarding the process.
